On Fridays, we learn about different aspects of Te reo me Tikanga Māori. One of these includes learning about our Māori colours. Here is a link to an activity where we ask our tamariki to read through our colours then take a quiz to find out if they remember the Māori names of these colours.

Waka huia is a carved wooden container made for holding precious items like heitiki (pounamu pendants), ear pendants and feathers.
